About Entsuji Haku-un Zazenkai

The Entsu-ji Hakuun Zazen Association was established in 1950, and in 2003 was approved as the Entsu-ji Zen Dojo by the Head Temple of Eiheiji, the head temple of the Soto sect.

We use Entsu-ji Temple, which was Ryokan's training hall, as a place for zazen every Sunday.

Currently, the Zen group has about 15 members.

In addition to Sunday zazen, we also hold dawn zazen meetings in the summer, New Year's Eve bell ringing events, and sesshins.

Why not join the Entsuji Hakuun Zazen Association and join us in the practice of living a life with a tranquil mind?

First of all, please feel free to join our Sunday Zen meditation session.

Just sit there

Members of the Entsuji Hakuun Zazen Association are welcome regardless of religion or sect.

"Just sitting in meditation"

We just sit there.

Members come to practice Zen not only from the local Tamashima area, but also from far away, such as Kurashiki, Okayama, Nadasaki, and Ibara.

I am steadily training with the spirit of "never rejecting those who come, and never chasing those who leave."

Please come and join us at the Zen meditation class, and if you are interested, please join us.
